35 or 37s on stock wheels

It should auto register after you drive for a bit. THAT SAID, there was change in the type of TPMS used somewhere in the middle of 2019 and depending on what Jeep your wheels came from, they may not ever register on your Jeep.
mine never reset but a quick trip to Discount fixed it.

Man, should I just bite the bullet and skip 35s and get 37s? New wheels plus 37. I have 2.5 inch full lift. Steelie wheels.

How bad would it be with the stock gearing for the summer with 37s? Not daily driven.
Yep go 37's all day. Put 35's on my JTR and now getting ready for 37's. Only saving grace is the 35's can go on my wife's JL. Like has already been said a few times I regret not buying the 37's out of the gate.

2018 JLU Rubicon is what they came off. After a quick 15 miles, they didn't register.

These "37" inch tires are only 34.9 inches...

They do rub at full steer on the LCA slightly. Not enough to worry about and adjust the bump stops. But with new tires, I'll adjust or put on spacers.

OK. I am considering getting a set of wheels for these instead of the stock.

Is this the correct sizing for 17x9 wheels. Ignore model, I just grabbed it from this site.

If 4.53 back spacing is what you're looking for, yeah, that should do the trick.

Also, I can't remember for sure but I don't think 5x5 bolt pattern (what you need) is the same as 5-127.
EDIT : I think they can be used interchangeably

5 inches is 127mm 1in = 25.4mm

They have 3.5" version, but they are more expensive. I care more about function than look. Which would rub less? Drive better?

See EDIT

6.25" of back spacing is stock. Anything less than that will help prevent rubbing at a full turn and help clear your rear sway bar links. 5.5" is pretty common for that. 3.5" is best for clearing aftermarket suspension components like coilovers but you may end up rubbing things like your fenders if they're still factory and depending on how you have things setup. 4.53" is kind of a good back spacing as it'll help out everywhere and still keep your tires somewhat under the fenders too.

I've ran the DT2"s (the wheel you listed) with 35's and now 37's.

With no lift and the 35's no problems. With the 37's and 3" Rock Krawler lift I get a rub when in reverse and at full lock.
