33 inch tires on stock height JK

I just ran the roads, before a lift, but I suspect, if you are going to off road it, you need at least a leveling kit, or cut your fenders. Otherwise it may rub them.

Really look into your decision of 16 inch wheels. Some aftermarket parts such as brakes can have clearance issues on 16 inch wheels. FYI

Just for quick reference I just installed a set of 4dr rubi Springs and shocks on my 2dr with 295/70/17s and this is how it sits now. Gave me about 1.5" lift and cheaper alternative to buying a full kit 20161203_163608.jpg

My first setup. Stock height, cut fenders and 35" Nitto TG's. Stock bumper rubbed and I had to clearance my Rubicon rails.

JKUS with 33/12/15s Mickey Thompson MTZs on 15" Procomp Rims.

No lift, no spacers. No rubbing, no issues, but didn't do much for off roading after I had them.
