Walking through Central Hall, I came across a group of guys standing around something I couldn't quite see. And, by the way they were gawking at it, one would have thought there was a naked lady on the other side of them. Of course, when I finally got a chance to take a peek, this is what I saw. The all new Chevy ZZ632 crate motor. We're talking about 1004 HP and 876 ft lbs of torque on pump gas!

Nice!

Wonder if it will fit in a JT and spin 42's at a high rate of speed?

We need someone to test that out.............

Boat build in my future.
That's what I first thought when I saw it too. That ZZ632 is an absolute animal. These vids were from my 21 Daytona with a single carb, pump gas NA 572 I built. That 572 made 778 on the dyno without the bottle. I sold it shortly after my first kid was born. I figured the kids need a father, and with a boat like this it's not if, but when, it will bite you. It ran 131 on the motor and 143 on the bottle GPS. I raced everything I could find, only lost once. I put 125 hours a year on that boat. Motor had 600 hours on it when sold.

That's badass. I went 105 once on a boat. I still remember the feeling of my cheeks pulling away from my face.
