One of the many things that Jeep got right with the all new JL Wrangler is the brakes. Unlike the JK before, these new brakes are bigger and definitely have more stopping power. Still, you're gonna have companies like R1 Concepts coming out with even bigger brakes and this black JL on display was wearing a set. Now, I'm gonna guess they installed a set of wheel spacers to make it easier for people to see their brakes because otherwise, this Jeep had a wide stance that just looked silly.

Not a bad looking Jeep but I agree the stance is a bit silly and somewhat excessive. Hopefully it was set up like this to showcase the brakes and not an actual feature.

Likin the Rhino Rack

Hi Eddie,

Thanks for doing a great job sharing your experiences at the show... you rock! Are you a fan of the roof rack on this jeep? I was thinking it would be really cool to have a roof tent for my new 2018 JL but as I'm sure you know, Jeep only rates the hard top for around 200 lbs. I can't see from the photos how this rack displaces the weight load to the top, and or is there a frame support to the body?
