VIDEO - MOBY in MOAB : Gold Bar Rim Jeep Trail / IMPROBABLE HILL

Sweet! Looks like your 6.2 burned about a thousand miles of highway rubber off on the climb.:clap2:

    Witnessed Death Wobble First Hand

Life is lessons. I've only had it happen once and it was scary. After a complete suspension rebuild of my '48 CJ (1976 photo) I took it for a spin to make sure everything was :thumb:. At about 45 mph it started and I got it down to thirty really fast but the wobble was unreal. If you look at...

    All things Colorado

This trip looks like it's gonna be a good one. You're going at the best time of the year. Just to bait the hook, consider Imogene Pass from Telluride to Ouray. You can do it with a stock JK but it's a bit of a challenge. This is Imogene very close to Telluride with Black Bear Pass and Bridal...

    Your 1st Jeep?

This is what did it for me, a '64 Kaiser CJ5 Tuxedo Park Mark IV. Bought it new with money saved working in a carwash during high school. It was red with a white cloth top from White Automotive Co. in Colorado Springs, 2/3 - 1/3 front bench, three on the tree and an OHV Hurricane 4. The only...

    Favorite Trail at Moab?

We were passing through Moab last April and decided to stay one extra day to run Fins & Things. Eddie had recommended it to us as a trail that would challenge a stock JKUR like ours, but we should be able to do it. We used the skid plate a couple of times and just had too much fun. We only...

VIDEO : RUBICAT Rocking Up Upchuck with Cooper STT Pros

I'm a Nitto Trail Grap fan, BUT these Cooper Discoverers have gotten my attention. They are made in every size known to mankind including a couple of sizes for my Comanche. BTW, I'm waiting to see if Cindy can duplicate her climb up Rock Chucker with Rubicat and the new Cooper shoes...

    MJ Comanche Section??

There are a few of us here. As you know the Comanche is kinda rare and because they're so good most have been really used over the years. Your new '86 is in pretty fair shape for having been around for 30 yrs. It'll be interesting to watch it evolve. Good luck with your new baby. I also like...

    Tax time…what are you buying?

Finally, finally getting a small refund, enough to buy a 22-250 Ruger American Rifle for some predator (coyote) hunting.

FIRST TIME : Lifted Jeep Renegade Trailhawk & Stock JK Rubicon on the Rocks

Have to admit the little guy, with very few mods, is surprisingly good on the trail.:thumb::thumb:

CRUCERO : Exploring the History & Mysteries of the Mojave Desert

Another great video. One thing always stands out about Wayalife films is the presentation of the journey and not necessarily a destination.:thumb::thumb: and a snap!

PASSING POWER : Jeep JK Wrangler with a Motech 6.2L LS V8 Engine

There's just something great about a big American V-8 at full song! That right there is what a Motec LS is all about. Two thumbs up...and a snap!

    Black bear pass, co

Here's a shot of the Black Bear switchbacks taken from nearby Imogene Pass. The building is an old power plant that back in the day produced enough power to light a couple of bulbs in Telluride. It's a private residence now. My wife and I watched the vid all the way and laughed 'til we cried...

KEEP IT TIGHT : JK-Experience Teaser Clip - Winching out of Carnage Canyon BV

My all time favorite WAL video. This climb up Carnage blew me away. Cindy is as talented off road as anyone. BTW, this climb could have started the slow death spiral of the old 6-speed manual that is now a flower pot.

    Totally Unexpected Bennie!

Dropped the wife off to do some shopping and swung by Discount Tire to get a five tire rotation at the S. Wadsworth store in Littleton. Tee-tee quick service and TWENTY-THREE brand new lug nuts. No charge! WTF, you say. The rotations I've done in the garage sometimes needed a little rubber...

    All things Colorado

Yessir, it's a hairy drive in the winter. San Juan County is legendary for their ability to keep 550 open in the worst conditions. They are bad ass. There are crosses along the way where plow truck drivers have gone over the side.

    All things Colorado

On the road to Ouray near the north side of McClure Pass is the Crystal Mill, one of the most photographed places in Colorado. It's a modest challenge from the town of Marble. It's awesome if you're fortunate enough to see it in the fall colors.

    Crawl Control

We've heard manufacturers claim "all new" when a grille was all that's changed. The crawl control feature on the "all new" 2016 Taco caught my eye. Granted they stick the Taco on a sand hill and work out by backing down. Supposedly the control builds up sand under the tires and presto you're...
