Sunrise from Lago Pehoe the other day. Windy as hell that morning. Took dozens of shots to get one sharp, even with a solid tripod.
I have a love hate relationship with my STT Pro’s. They hook up great but they are a pain to balance, and they wear in a way that is noisy and perpetually need rebalancing
Finally got the old frame-side lower CA bolts off. Had to cut them in two places from the inside through jj pivot balls. They were essentially rust welded to the pivot ball. Somebody hasn't been keeping up with maintenance.
After all that decided to replace the front lower long arms; I do like...
Original, cut up by me 11 years ago to fit long arms before EVO made one for them specifically. And the new one that uses the lower CA frame mounts. That’s why EVO is EVO. 👍
