How is it to drive on 33s with the 6spd? Since I almost never get over 60mph except for road trips, my 6spd JL Rubi is essentially a 4spd. 😅

I don't get gear grind but it's a heavy thunk. I don't like the heavy thunk but I have a very low success rate for engaging 4lo while stationary.

I always wondered if I could just put it in 4lo while stopped and slip the clutch a bit and try again if the gears didn't mesh. I finally tried it in the snow yesterday and had no luck. I had to roll the car forward about a foot to get the xfer case to slot back into gear.
