What was done to your rig this week?

Removed this stone from my right rear caliper. Sounded like an exorcism was happening when I turned left! Now the demon is gone. Haha

Thank you for that great description of the symptom you were experiencing ! Now if someone on a forum describes "Sounds like an exorcism is happening when I'm turning," we can easily direct them where to look for the problem.

Hahaha it was the least I could do for this forum! In reality it sounded like a lathe that was running without coolant for a while.

Got the c gussetts and lower control arm skids welded up. Also replaced the ball joints with some synergy ones

Decided to repaint my sliders and touch up a couple of spots of my EVO rockers, the crappy powdercoat chips off and gets rusty:

Also took off my trektop and put my hard top back on. Preparing for El Niño ;)

Installed the tire carrier and replaced my leaking dif cover

Hey man quick question, what long arm set up are you running? Is that a bracket/truss for an independent 3 link that goes over top of the diff? And also how are you liking the tire carrier so far? I'm looking at the career conceptz as well!

Rubicon Express and yes. So far so good with the tire carrier, no rattles, seems sturdy with the 37 on it, easy install.

Looks great!!!! I need to do that. Wait I still need my EVO rockers[emoji20]

Lol! I'm sure you'll get some soon enough.

Also forgot to mention I painted my undercarriage today. Skids, frame, diff and control arms. They were in need of som rust prevention.

Finally got around to putting the winch back on and put on the warn fair lead also put on the LED fog lights I got

Matched perfect with the Trucklites

Install was pretty straight forward, only thing was the bolt holes were too small for the bolts on the bumper and I misplaced my drill so I had to heat up a screwdriver and make the holes bigger that way lol

Installed Rough Country dual steering stabilizer. May take one off though because steering is almost too tight now.

I picked up Bestop Trektop NX for $175, Craigslist. I also picked up Rough Country front and rear Dana 44 differential skid plates, front electronic away bar disconnect skid plate, front and rear lower control arm skid plates, and muffler skid plate for $50 total, all still 100% brand new, also from Craigslist. I also installed the Rough Country front and rear diff skids and the electronic sway bar disconnect skid.
I also installed my new front and rear Procomp Prorunner shocks which was a major improvement over the factory 07 Rubicon shocks with 95,000 miles on them!
Gotta love craigslist!
