Next time you are up that way pm me and we can meet up. We checked out the twin peaks trail too outside the Y. Would be fun as a group as a short day trip to do both those trails, especially for any of those new to wheeling. My wife learned a lot on the trail up to Genoa, and on the washboard on Twin peaks, but sucks to run alone.

Yup, we took the route from the south straight to the top. Such a great run, I will definitely PM you next time! I wanted to run the twin peaks, but we ended at 4:30p and wanted to grab a bite. Definitely want to do more group trips, next time for sure. If you're ever in SoCal I'm game too

All legal. DEP Officer actually was at the gate and we chatted for a bit about where wheeling was permitted before we started.....

Did a nice easy family ride on Gold Fever Trail in Big Bear. Stopped at all the spots for pictures and lunch, and then fooled around some at stop 12 which had some nice rocks.

Mine is the granite 2 door, then there was a black TJ, my dad's JKUR, uncle's FJ, and a couple of full size pick ups. Great time, but can't wait to take some of the more difficult trails on the mountain!

Here's a few pics from the southern hemisphere. Just to remind you guys what winter is like, lol. No four wheeling this week but drove back home this morning across the central north island of New Zealand. It was cold.

They did really well. Made it up test hill in 2wd once. All in all couldn't be happier.

Ran Bull Park out near the springs today. I ran this trail stock last year and the lift and 35's made a huge difference. Pics don't really show how narrow and rocky this trail really is. We ran across a stock H2 coming down the trail at one point. I can only imagine the Colorado pin striping that thing got.

It's just you really... I didn't light anything I swear and sorry I didn't invite but this was a scout trip for a future beach run that will get posted I just didn't wana get anyone lost not really knowing where I was going

This time that's Fog and not smoke - made it to Usal for lunch break and some wheeling on the sand





Back on the trail to get to Shelter Cove wasn't sure what to expect hit paved road on the way to Shelter Cove





Shelter Cove to check out Lighthouse (not in use) and Tidal Ponds




Here's the pics coming back down and thru the fire and base camps which are now virtually empty as everyone is out there not sure what a lot of this equipment is but pretty interesting
