Looks great! For the rear bump, order a set of synergy adjustable bump stop pucks. Or go old school and get some hockey pucks. You can dial the right height in from there. I did not use those 4” extensions on mine.

brake lines aren’t too bad. I’d do then one at a time and bleed them out as I go around.

something’s not right with the front bumps. I wonder if the pressure’s not right so it can’t push all the way back out. You need a shock style air gauge so you don’t lose pressure when you check it.
I have a dozen pucks sitting the garage. Can't just buy two. I'll swap out the break line in a day or two. King has a gauge for $85

I had the same problem with mine, they came uncharged. They need to be charged with nitrogen, 125 PSI IIRC. Any decent off road shop should be able to charge them for you, the shop I went to in Reno charged $25 each to do it.

Nitrogen shocks and coilovers use special tools to check and fill them. Polyperformance.com has a good selection of shock tools but they are not cheap, unless you plan to service your own coilovers it is probably not worth the expense.
Thanks I was looking at Poly last night. $$

Looking good!

Glad I was able to get you some info to help out.

I'm really looking forward to seeing you and hitting a trail or two.
Thanks. Sounds good. Took Bee Canyon for a little shake down yesterday and worried about the brake lines the whole trail.. Need to get that sorted , then get my feet wet with you.. Remember the jeeps green and so is the driver..:ROFLMAO:

Finally installed my EVO Bolt-on Coilovers. Long 4 days. Long story but thanks Jerry and Allen for the conformation. Loving the ride already.
Still need to get ride height dialed in. EVO instructions state for the rear start with the spanner nut all the way up. (the front says about 1 1/4 down)
I would like to keep it as low as I can. But with the spanner nut all the way up I only have about an inch until I'm into the bump stops. I think the bump stop extensions that come with the kit are 4". Can I use less than that if I have room for it.
Any advice or pointers on how to set this all up would be welcome. I also still need to install break lines. Kinda hesitant on that. I'd take some pointers on that too.
I also install 2' King bumps in the front and on my shake down run it looks like they got compressed and didn't pop back out all the way?? I ran them up with a crowbar and they don't push back out or not all the way. Do I need to gauge them and fill them to a specific psi? With what?
Also got the Rotopax installed.

As for the bumps it would not be the first set, I have seen show up not charged with nitro. Should be set around 150PSI.

You need to get the brake lines on they are much shorter than the Evos ones. It’s simple but having a second set of hands to help bleed brakes is helpful.

For the rear if you are running 200/250 spring rate, I have found you need about 1 3/4 to 2 inches of preload in the rear to give you at least 4 inch of shock up travel. If you have less then that, I assume you are only seeing 1 or 2 inches of rear shock shaft.

You have my number don’t hesitate to call me if you need some help.

Thanks I appreciate the all the help. My previous lift was 4" so it did have the drop brackets but still sketchy. And I did notice the amount of preload in the photo you sent. I'm going start there. One thing I do know is taller jack stands are a must have. Did some pretty sketchy block stacking.

My passenger has more then driver to compensate for the JK lean. I put new 250 upper coils on thanks to KevinG and there is less preload now.

Replaced my LOD front bumper with this FMF stubby. Also managed to install my rear extended brake lines. Still have to do the front.
Side note a few months back I offered to sell my EVO 4" plush rides to somebody when I got home ,but I forgot who? If your still interested hit me up. Got a LOD mid width ready for a new home also...

Lucked out today , Found a local vendor who had one Zeon 10s in stock. Ran out and nabbed it. Then my Baja Designs showed up. ( These suckers are bright for a fog light not sure if I can run them as a driving light) So a pretty busy day. 20210603_142429.jpg 20210603_154315.jpg 20210603_205715.jpg 20210603_205722.jpg

Thanks guys. Question for MericaMade and wjstudios. How did you guys route your front break lines with the new coilovers? Any photos? I ask because stock goes behind coil and shock. I ended up going the natural direction which now is between spring perch (now AirBump) and the coilover. I also picked up some of those teraflex brake line holders. Haven't installed waiting to see what you guys did.

I brought mine in from behind.
