Vengeance, part III

I decided to start a fresh "build" thread for Vengeance, so the sale thread or the Windrock thread didn't become onešŸ˜

For those who don't know the history, here is part I, the back story:
https://wayalife.com/showthread.php...Yours-Bidding-Starts-Tuesday-December-11-2012
Part II is the sale of Vengeance:
https://wayalife.com/showthread.php/61128-Vengeance-is-yours

Part II.a is my trip to get Vengeance, and wheel at Windrock before driving home to SoCal:
https://wayalife.com/showthread.php/61163-Windrock-with-Vengeance-late-March
Now Part III can begin, tracking my adventures and further build of this truly amazing Jeep known as Vengeance.

The first mod happened on the way home, as I was tired of the hood bouncing due to the play in the hood pins.

When I stopped at my friend's in New Mexico, I found some rubber bushings that fit perfectly to tighten it up.

We also did a 5 tire rotation before I left to finish the ride home.

Now home, Vengeance gets a bath, and removal of the top and doors, to be replaced with half doors "borrowed" from my other Jeep, and the installation of the Spiderweb shade.

Thanks for putting the back story at the top of the thread. I don't think I ever got a chance to get through it before.

Looking forward to wheeling with you soon.

Very cool idea, can't wait to see what you do with it (trailing and your personal touches). [emoji106]

Cool Thread!

Thanks guys!

With the history of this Jeep, I wanted to be sure to share it, and keep the respect of the build and the reason behind it alive and well.

Soon after I joined Wayalife, I seen the link in Torrin's signature, so I followed it and read the story.
I had no idea at the time that I would have the chance to even see it, much less own it.

Excited to follow along on this, no disrespect or knock on Torrin but cool to see this Jeep with such an active member so we can all see updates!

Thanks for posting a link to the build specs. I've been really curious about the setup, looks like a great setup!

Thanks. You will definitely see more of itšŸ˜

It was a lot easier than trying to recreate it. It is a great build. Very solid.

Looking forward to following along!

Thanks!

Took it for a cruise topless this evening, enjoying the SoCal weather.
This happened just before I got home:

I hope that's a lucky number. And my other Jeep is just a few hundred miles behind this one.

Great thread. Love to see the top off. Every time this Jeep has been popping up lately, Iā€™ve been flipping back through the SEMA thread that showcases it when it was originally built. Such a cool Jeep. Congrats
