I own a jeep wrangler TJ 97 2.5 do I need to relearn my CPS? I’ve replaced it but the jeep will not crank now the old one works just fine. Does anyone know about this?

A CPS that's bad will allow your engine to crank but not start. If you're not getting any crank, your problem is elsewhere.

The old one allows it to crank but the new one when installed will not allow it to crank. That’s where I’m stumped. I think the old one works intermittently I think. That’s what in trying to figure out.The Jeep will run for approximately 30 to 40 minutes and shut down and will not start until it cools down and then it will crank and run fine. I acquired a new one just to troubleshoot the Jeep. But it will not even start up with new one.
