Am I the only one patiently looking forward to Corned beef, Cabbage & Guinness tonight?

I can't stand cabbage. With that being said, my sister in law made us some corned beef with cabbage last week and I tried the two together and it was tolerable. I loved the corned beef though.

Corned Beef & potatoes works too.

Got mine in the Dutch oven now...and enjoying a stout as I write this...

My grandma's ancestors on my dad's side came over the pond to Cape Cod on a boat in the 1600's...my grandma had a full head of red hair...and New England boiled dinner was a staple. I wasn't a big fan of either cabbage or brussels sprouts until I visited my grandma for the first time...I have loved both since.

And you get to enjoy it again many hours later after eating either...coupled with a healthy dose of stout...I'd stand upwind...

Drank a pint of Yellow Rose IPA from Lone Pint brewery in Magnolia, Texas while I was changing the carb on my push mower.

I'm not a drinker, per se,but I do have some fond memories of the Guinness 250.
That looks like a nice stout Brute.
