Lol. Oh, I can handle medium rare, but most times it’s undercooked, and I get medium rare when I order medium. That’s why I order right in the middle.

In a hurry. I also don’t like the extra toppings you may get if you complain. I’ve eaten at this place, a dozen times, or more, while working out of town. They usually get it right. Tonight I had a half-eaten, tasteless hunk of steer.

Understandable, I suppose... I'll put up with all kinds of issues with my food for the same reason, but if I'm ordering a steak I've gotta get at least medium rare or it's going back. They can spit on it all they want.

I usually find the opposite. I order medium rare and they overcook it, lol. Still pisses me off the same though.

I tend to say just give it some color on both sides send it out still bleeding and they get it .. if I tell em rare it comes well done ,order well done it comes medium ... go figure ..

I've had it flipped before. Feeling not too hungry and usually a week where I'm feeling weight conscious so I order a salad to appease my conscience. They show up with fries and of course I eat them but I feel guilty the whole time
