WOOHOO - Autonomous Off-Roading!!

The regulations, fines, red tape and all the other bullshit they have to pay to get from one level to the next and still not being able to fix a fucking thing because of more red tape, I'm not surprised all they do is raise rates and nothing gets fixed because another barrier gets thrown in the way.
You are probably in the minority of people defending PG&E.

Exactly. It’s only going to get worse. More black outs more high gas prices but hey the state is two to one democrat vs republican so they got what they wanted.

I'm not defending them, I'm just surprised as a business they don't include some kind of flyer of all the bullshit they have to put up with because of the fucking sheep that voting for this shit.
At what point does a business say fuck it and get out
What do they have to put up with? No regulation on rate increases? Monopoly on power for for 5 million plus households in Northern California? Zero recourse for damages from fires started by their equipment other than monetary which is paid back by the state anyway? They have their cake and are eating every bit of it. Why would they want to leave or shit on the state?

had to do some profit searching and yeah, pg&e likes being California's scape goat, 2024 to the tune of $2.47 billion in profits, regulators rewarding them

My point exactly.

All of this tech being added to vehicles makes me laugh. As has already been stated, none of it works properly or regularly and it adds cost and even more istances of 'Sorry the part is on back order, it will be six months'.

I drove my XJ to work today and all I could think was, damn I love this analog dash! All of the gauges are just there, I don't have to go to some other screen on my radio to see my oil pressure!

People who don't want to drive their vehicles should use alternate transportation. Stay off the roads (and now trails?).
