You’re probably right, the tail looks to be too long for a bobcat, too short for a cougar. The legs though, look short in relation to the body.

Actually may be another deer. Ass facing camera. Almost looks like a whitetail tail. Black dot near leg could be tarsal gland. Sometimes they're really dark.

That’s what I was thinking and how far it is maybe makes it look dark.

Our Tin Camp cabin camera picked up this guy a couple of nights ago and at first, I thought it was just a cat but after giving it a closer look, I'm not so sure anymore. Any thoughts?

i was thinking bobcat but after replaying at 4k, it does look like a badger

That was my first thought too. It looks a little thicker than a cat.
