Was out cruzing around and found a nice empty dirt road to test out the new tires on, needless to say they didn't fail me.

We hit the Rubicon, we did the whole thing in one day. It took 15 solid hrs of hard core rock crawling. The trail was great, we really got to see what our Jeep would do. Then will finish the weekend in Tahoe.

I must say that I love this thread! Living vicariously through everyone in unique locations that I've never wheeled in :thumb:

Had a family dunes trip... More like we drive out on the beach.... Played in the sand, and then I let my kids drive around for a while before heading home.

My ride- 2001 power wheel, 11" plastic tires, upgraded battery, boat sides, custom bumpers, tow hooks, new paint.

We took a Sunday trip from Glendale, NV to Caliente, NV by way of Carp, NV and the Elgin School House. It was mostly maintained dirt roads.

Then on Monday we went exploring a local area and ended up at a place called Hell's Half Acre. It is only about 15 miles from the house but we drove 50+ to get there.

My wife jumped in the drivers seat so I could do the spotting in one tight area then she drove the rest of the way. Once she had the wheel in her hands she said it was much better than being passenger.

That picture was from the next day, after as much sleep as possible.

My wife and I did part of the WABDR from Ellensburg to Packwood section. Was an easy drive. Could have been done in 2wd, but fun just the same. Views are awesome.

When you have a Gecko Green Jeep, you don't really expect to encounter another one of the same color, much less seeing one doing the same trail the opposite direction 30 miles from the nearest pavement. We chatted for a bit, posed for a couple of pictures, talked about trail conditions on the rest of the route and headed our separate ways.

My wife and I went on a day trip on a trail called the Bethel Ridge trail in the Rimrock area outside of Yakima. Here are a few picks.

It was a great day. I did receive some minor damage to my rear license plate mount when an overlanding motorcyclist hit me with his rear side storage box. And some new pin striping on my doors from some over grown brush on parts of a side trail. It was a trail to the little lake, and I didn't want to miss out on checking it out. The views were great.

Pretty cool looking area, haven't made it out that way yet.
