What's your view like at work?

What’s crazy, is what we take for granted. My dad bought his first television around 1965, and it was used. That’s also around the time he had his first air conditioning in his home, and vehicle. In 1958, I’m pretty sure my grandparents still had a party line (shared line) telephone.

Sorry for the thread derailment.

Thanks for the insight. It’s so easy to forget how far vehicles/technology have come in 60 years and like you said take it all for granted.

That sucks. Did you limp it or tow it?

No limping with that blow-out. Was almost the whole length of the hose. Had to wait an hour and a half for the tow truck and almost an hour through traffic to get to the shop.

I texted my mechanic what was needed so he could have the parts delivered and he had a couple of guys guys wait for me past closing to get there and get me back on the road again. 👍

Thank goodness it split a hose and didn’t shit a spark plug out of the head with the threads attached to it

Lol. Right? It's a 2004 with a 5.4L... I really haven't had any issues with it in almost 400k miles so I shouldn't complain. Just wasn't what I wanted to deal with at the end of a long day.

Not exactly at work, about 1000 feet from where my wife works. Also the reason we are on the waiting list for our Ocean Blue JLUR. Second shot is view from my work.
