What's going on here?

The more I poke around under my Jeep the more interesting things I find. The right spring has an extra block added. It looks like someone was trying to lower the right side be about half an inch.









This is the Left side and there isn't the extra block.

Might be a cheap way to adjust for a worn out saggy spring.

The JT carries different springs on passenger side to compensate for fuel tank.
