What was done to your rig this week?

Yesterday I finally got around to installing my Rock Hard Sport Cage! Took most of the day due to taking on the mission by my self. Today I tore it all out and took it out for powder coat. The uprights and the front to rear brace are going to be gloss black, the cross bars and clamps are going to be as close a match to the silver on the dash/ air vents as I can get.( I like some of the 2 tone cages I'v seen on this forum) I'll add another pick when the re install is complete next week. A big thanks goes out to Eddie and everyone who contributed to the installation thread!!! It made the job so much easier, and I'll be using the KC mount for my CB as well!!:beer::beer:

Damn it....now I want an aftermarket cage!

I got my steering gear back from West Texas Offroad mid-week so I planned to get our hydraulic assist installed on my Jeep this week/weekend but it looks like the paint dry time is going to prevent me from completing it.

When the box arrived I was a little surprised that the ram was bare steel. So, the first thing I did wad get that painted.

BLUE! (and several coats of clear)

Next my focus turned to the bracket. Since we do not have a d-link flip and raised track bar this was going to have to be a custom job.

So with that said; here are all the pieces of my home made bracket. I'm pretty pleased with them considering they were all made with a cut-off wheel , hand drill, and a grinder. :)

And then, all welded together and ready to be welded to the axle.

Wow cant believe the ram wasn't painted. Looks good that color though......How long was the wait for this? I'm trying to decide If i want one from them or Trail gear & tap my own box.

I lost 8 days to shipping (there and back) they only had the gear for 4 days.

Installed the Daystar switch panel. Wow it's NOT just a "plug and play" item. I had to "contour" the panel because it kept popping off.

Also I had to trim the back of the panel a bit. But I got it to work... :banghead:
