Dude, nice rig. How do you like the old school warn winch. That's the 8274 right? Are you running steel or synthetic line? How long of a line can you fit? I love that winch, tell me what you think of it. Tango

Where did u get the cubes?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I bought them because they weren't cubes... They are round LEDs. Got them off Amazon, didn't come with switch or wiring, but I had everything except a fuse and a switch. If I paid $100+ for these, I might be disappointed, but for the price, no complaints. The sign and playground in the photos is about 50 yards away....there is absolutely no ambient light present in the area, just the lights on my rig

Looks like u made a few passes. Initial masking is diff than final cut. Looks good

I helped him with it and we started off using a dremel until it died after a few minutes of use(don't get the 4200 dremel). Then we didn't have anything else to cut with so we went and bought a cheap saw from harbor freight. We did a lot of debating on how to cut it before we did it though and during.

I did mine today and used a 4" grinder with a cut off wheel. Worked great till I realized I was wearing a short sleeve shirt and HOT liquified plastic started flying!!!

I'll post up some pics tomorrow.

:cheesy: My buddies wife was covered in that plastic after we got half a fender cut.

I did the same thing(pics posted in my thread of the chop) but almost got it in the eye before realizing that I forgot my goggles

That would have been bad. I hardly ever work anymore without safety glasses. I have had way too many close called. One which left a scar on the bridge of my nose.

Added Rugged Ridge Bug Shield. Second MOD done to Rubie that required drilling into metal. Strange that I am getting used to putting a drill bit into a $40K vehicle 6 months old.

New lights inside. Something small but looks good. Cheap.

So I noticed a few drops here and there in the driveway, didn't see anything coming off the oil pan or oil filter.... Looked a little closer and saw this area gunked:

Gunk.jpg

So then I found out that this a recall. First I checked at this website:

Jeep WRANGLER Recalls - DealerRater

It said:
"CHRYSLER IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2007 THROUGH 2008 JEEP WRANGLER VEHICLES MANUFACTURED FROM JUNE 2006 THROUGH JULY 2008, EQUIPPED WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS. THESE VEHICLES WERE NOT EQUIPPED WITH A TRANSMISSION FLUID TEMPERATURE WARNING SYSTEM".

So I called the dealership, they ran my VIN and I dropped her off today for the repair!
I'll let ya know if anything weird comes up.

Below is a link to my thread from a while back. It isn't a recall, it's an extended warranty issue. You'll be able to have them replaced free of charge whether you're the first owner or not.

I spilled a beer in my jeep while we were camping.. All we had was orange smelling fabreze. Don't do that! When it gets hot and humid it stinks.. My jeep was brand new... I was so pissed... Oh well, live and learn...

I got my ARB On-Board Air system installed, in the campground in Moab! Thanks to Eddie and his write up!!

No pictures of the compressor but got pictures of Moab!
