What was done to your rig this week?

Well brown santa dropped off me EVO fascia and D-Ring mounts yesterday so today I thought I'd install them. 20140219_143254_resized.jpg

Yeah seriously, they made those bumper covers look great! I want it but I just can't see forking over that much dough for the combination of those items from EVO Mfg when there's a similar product for much cheaper (though the d-ring mounts are slimmer meaning probably weaker) and whole bumpers for not much more. I'm in cahoots with my buddy in Austin to make ourselves some one off bumpers for probably less than $150 (hopefully lol)

Anyways, I was able to drop the top finally! :D These are the days I'm glad I live in Texas.

Ambitiously decided to paint my new EVO sliders while installing the new bumper. Got the 1/4 pounder on (sans vac reloc) and both sliders sanded and primed. Bumper install was my first official "cut in" on the jeep. Learned that circular wheel cutters ain't got shit on a reciprocating saw, and that a 10" wrench extension is quite handy for mounting the 1/4 pounder.

Tomorrow- evap reloc, and painting sliders while installing Teraflex quick discos. Friday- welding the sliders on. Saturday- wheeling @ Adventure Park :)

Where's the winch? I goofed and ordered a Zeon, waiting on CTI-s to arrive.
