What was done to your rig this week?

Nothing major, but did manage to get a CB installed this week. First time I’ve done this so not really sure it’s working, but I’ll find out day after tomorrow at our local gtg trail day.

No need for that on channel 19. I once listened to a argument about what’s the better winter accessory for long. Drives a 12v heated blanket or a lady of the evening. They both actually made some very good points...

But which point was most convincing?

The receiving signals part seems to work well. On my commute I drive past the Port of Seattle and there are a TON of trucks around there and also just tons of construction in general in the area. So lots of communications going on regarding everything from where to get the best deals on good weed in town to which loading dock to back into... at least that seems to work fine. Just would like a more "defined" test with a known distance and those sorts of things.

lol

plan this weekend depending on the heat is to get my new Fusion 4x4 tie rod and drag link installed. go ahead and do a tire rotation while i'm at it. grease the control arms.

would really like to get my hard top hoist mounted as well.

Got my new Harken Hoister installed. Really pleased with the quality and 6:1 mechanical advantage of the hoist. Jeep should issue these with every hardtop purchase!!!

Just installed a new clockspring this morning. Dealership wanted 249 for just the part not including labor. 150 bucks off quadratec, youtube and less than a hour later all my problems seem fixed. Cant explain why I had a clock spring from a compass in the JK though. Things that make you go hmmmmm.

How hard was it todo and was it just plugin and play or was the crimping involved?
