What was done to your rig this week?

Lifted my dads Jeep. Installed a 3.5” Rockkrawler flex system. Goes in for 35s and an alignment tomorrow.

Making progress on the re re re re build of my Jeep.

Trans swap done...transfer case clean up, inspection and swap to flanges done.

As you can see the suspension is gone, pulled the fuel tank and cut the LJ cross member out, all cleaned up for tomorrow when I install the new Tank.

Yes lot's of work and it's hot here so that doesn't help ...115 yesterday and 113 today so I only last until noon. LOL

Dynatrac elite package is what I'm installing...next few day's I'll start prepping them.

Afe mach force high tuck exhaust. Nice low sound, no drone whatsoever. I do not find that it has a "ricer" sound at all. 20180727_175339.jpg 20180727_175349.jpg

Spent a bunch of time under the front of the jeep today. Tracking down a front end shimmy. Pulled the drag link and tie rod. All the ends on those were still good. Did find a little movement at the pitman arm, maybe normal steering box play. Since the tie rod was out, I spent some time straightening it back out. Checked unit bearings. Checked ball joints , passenger side good drivers side not so good. Parts ordered to rebuild the ball joints. It was a great day!
Oh and a front end alignment.

Replacing my stock tie rod and drag link with some Currie stuff. My drag link is slightly bent and I managed to somehow crack the sleeve for the evo drag link flip.
