What was done to your rig this week?

Today installed overhead console and seat covers. Can't have to much storage.<img src="http://wayalife.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=14574"/><img src="http://wayalife.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=14575"/>

Where did you find the overhead storage thing? That's pretty cool!

Quadratec or 4wd has those seat covers and the overhead console cover. It attaches to your sport cage of tuffy security console. They are made by smittybilt. I have.the seat covers and the tailgate cover for 7months now and surprisingly they are holding up pretty good

Installed some gas struts on the hood, did an oil change, started work on a rear bumper(really just took the old one off so far).

Lots more work to do this weekend.

What kinda struts did u use? That's a good idea!

Installed my rear alloy shafts and rebuilt 4 flex arms. How do u get a stuck shaft out without a slide hammer... U use a pipe wrench and a hitch adaptor. This shaft was a bear to get out. Took us two hrs. And a little beating with a bfh.

Installed a set of Daystar JK Wrangler Anti-hood flutter latches. Great buy as far as functionality and solve that panicky feeling of wondering if the hood is going to fly up an cause a wreck. Desperately needed here in NM & TX. These things are super tight, had to wrestle getting them to latch.

Installed my body armor high clearance bumper/tire carrier.... And found this tire cover at pep boys <img src="http://wayalife.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=14629"/>

They got all sorts of Zombie stuff! That's where I got my hitch cover, they also sell "zombie bite kits" (first aid)

Looks good loving the tire cover! Bumper looks great too!

That looks sweet! Not a tire cover kind of guy, but my wife said she loves it and wants to know where the closest Pep Boys is now. She has the same decals on her rig.

Thanks buddy. I'm not a huge tire cover guy either, but I had to have it. It only fits tire up to 32.5 so it will wont fit the new tires I will purchase in the future. It was $20

Long list of things getting done this weekend.

Notably, painted rear fender wells and installed an external speaker for my Cobra "I can't hear you" 75 CB.

So just bought a 2010 islander. Any advice on debadging the islander decal? Or moving the mirrors to the windshield brackets, what's a good mounting kit?
