I won’t give them credit because I don’t think they truly care about the long term. But I see it being a smart play. The kids that are excited about it today. Will probably buy a Jeep in 10 years and be lifers once they are adults.

Exactly. You see it on Bring a Trailer all the time. Dude buys a “special edition Corvette” parks it or drives it very rarely turns around to sell it 20 years later and it sells for more than he paid for it but if you run the numbers through the inflation calculator he looses money. Ooooh I’m going to buy a final final edition Jeep keep it in a climate controlled garage and just go out and look at it every once in a while.

Mechanically the MOAB and it looks to be the same as the Rubicon 392. Just minus some of the luxury stuff. Still think they are missing an opportunity not offering a no-frill 5.7 hemi Wrangler. More $50k-$60k jeeps will sell than $80k-$100k, at least from my simple mind.
