What made you choose the shocks you are running?

Make sure you get the 5000X totally different shock than the "old school" 5000s'.
Hit them with a clear coat helps the finish last longer against mag chloride.
Other than that a lot of good info in this thread..

I had them, and they were really nice. Rancho had a nice promotion going on when I got them, too!

I went with the Rancho 7000s paired with my 4" Plush Coils on my latest Jeep. My old Jeep I ran 9000s and 3" Plush Coils. I love the ride in both but didn't feel I needed the adjustable shocks any more.
