Hydrohut is our little getaway place in the New Zealand bush. We can drive there in the Jeep. About an hour of 4x4 driving or a two hour walk one way. When this place was built in the 60's the owner piped water to the hut from a steep, nasty creek up the back, this drove a small pelton wheel arrangement and generated power for lights, fridge etc. Hence the name we gave it - Hydro Hut.

"Rocky" is what a girl I used to talk too named my CJ7 and the "JK" don't have a name so just left it at that lol

72blubyu got that when I was building my 72 Chevelle and would race people. It was the plate on the car fora while, so they knew what year car they got beat by.

Rose is my last name. Years ago, I was in to desert off-road racing in the Southwest here where I live and I raced a Jeep CJ for a few years in the circuits...so that was our race team name Desert Rose Racing. So anything we can, we use the moniker as part of the title, as my wife's personal business is Desert Rose Consulting and now that we got the new 2013 JKUR it just fit right in to be the Desert Rose JK... :thumb:

I have sort of have red reflections in my hair in different types of lighting conditions... so the guys at work called me rusty, the name stuck.

Awesome thread! I love to fly RC planes/jets. Seriously...shit that goes 140-150 mph. Thus JKFlyer

I bet you can't guess my first name, or what kind of jeep I drive.

My ride- 2001 power wheel, 11" plastic tires, upgraded battery, boat sides, custom bumpers, tow hooks, new paint.

Bought my first Jeep in 91'. It's a 79' Jeep CJ5. Needed a personalized plate to fit into the family so we went to the DMV looking for Rock Crawler and ended up with RCCRWLR. Still have it!

I was hoping that your name was Always Sunny related :hmm:

My name is Kathy people naturally started calling me Kat and my initials are KT so some started calling me Katie. Panda morphed it into Kitty and it stuck only wish I would have spelled "Crawler" in my user name with a K also

So I'll go first.

I got the nickname FrankenJeeper a couple years ago, I was working on my JK, running wiring and coax for my CB, and I was rushing trying to finish up and was cutting zip ties with my knife, and was in an awkward position, and unfortunately made the stupid decision to cut "slightly" towards myself.

Turns out my Buck knife was sharp enough that it was a very clean cut, but the stitches looked hacked up, like something outta Frankenstein, and a friend gifted me the name, FRANKENJEEPER.
