The good thing is that steel wheels can easily be repainted using the same paint as for the Jeep, but they will likely look bad after a while unless the original color is stripped first.

I have a set of five of these that I was going to get painted Gobi, but was quoted $900.
I think I’m just going to PlastiDip them desert tan. Can easily be touched up, and can also be fairly easily removed in case they get all assed up. I just hate black wheels so I’m going to do something with them.

I hear you, I'm looking for a better snow tire, looking at bfg ko3 again. The snow I drove through coming back from Moab last year made me realize how sketchy these Recon are, I expected them to be so much better than they were.
