What did Brown Santa show up with today..

Here are some of my spring time projects. Synergy Tie Rod and drag link. I finally got a set of Dynatrack Progrips. I'm really excited to get those installed. On the less fun side of things my Gibson muffler rusted out and is starting to sound ridiculous so I'll be replacing that as well.

Since you're in the Rust Belt for the most part, antiseize the threads on the ends AND get some some Fluid Film and coat them before winter each year.

Replacing the ends on my tie rod bar because everything was corroded so bad. If I can't hit my measurement I'll have to buy another bar.

Whoops, accidentally made a fresh thread over this!

My Spicer FAD delete kit (10045078) came the other day, which I'm honestly surprised at, because it sounds like stock is spotty.

I mostly bought it just to have it in case I want to do away with my FAD. I'd have preferred the OEM actuator cover with integrated fork (68547745AA), but it looks like that part is now unobtainium. It sounds like other people have purchased single piece CroMoly single piece axle shafts, but I'm not sure if those are interchangeable or compatible as a plug and play solution with no other modifications.

I have a security gateway cable and JScan compatible OBDII bluetooth dongle on the way so I can disable the FAD before I do anything else. I've read that newer Willys and other trims are being sent out with the OEM FAD delete actuator cover, so that makes me wonder if this will make a headache for any warranty claims. It seems like many other owners have done a FAD delete within their warranty period, but you never hear much after that. If anyone here has done it, has any feedback or suggestions, or anything that would help, I'd be grateful.
