I wanted to say hi from SW Colorado.
I have a 2015 JKU rubicon and I'm excited to use it on all the awesome terrain nearby.
We just moved back to CO, so lots for us to explore.
Jeep is pretty sorted out to start off with, so my primary focus is increasing my expirence level, trail knowledge, recovery and safety skills.
I have owned landcruisers in the past, but always wanted a jeep and my wife was down for it, so why not?
 
Congrats on the jeep and welcome! We were trying to visit telluride in July but everything was full or didn't take pets/kids. Jealous you get to live there! We're just outside Denver, so I can't complain though ;)

Welcome from California!! I love that area. Your jeep will do just fine on the trails near you. If you have a winch and wanna use it a bit, go up Poughkeepsie Gulch. You get to an obstacle known as The Wall. It has a winch point above it in the rock.
