Negative ghost rider. The butt is a better cut for pulled pork. Although I only cook maybe once a month so I could be wrong. :crazyeyes:

Did not say it was better just answering your question from my opinion. I prefer the butt because there is not the shoulder bone which yellow more pulled pork.

Guess it was lost in translation. I know about the bone and the fat, I was just curious why he decided to go with that instead of the butt. :thumb:
 
Yeah, we use a blend of garlic salt and fresh ground pepper and season them the night before. Then low and slow, for a little over an hour, turning often.

Wood is far better than charcoal. We like to use Red Oak, but had to settle with charcoal for this event.

was gonna ask where the wood chips were i like to go between using peach wood or hickory to add an awesome flavor :thumb:
