Has anyone does the Washinton backroad discovery route on here? I think I'm going to go up in about a week and a half as long as the snow keeps melting and I'd love to know if anyone else has any experience on it.

Me and a couple guys that I wheel with are going to be heading that way on the 10th to do some wheeling and camping over towards Ellensburg/manastash ridge. We might also try and jump on the WABDR while we are out that way.

Well it's raining but it's amazing out here guys.

I was thinking about your trip today and was wondering how it went.

It was definitely super fun but the snowpack stopped us from going very far. Plus we had to stop several times to cut trees that had fallen in our path and pull many more out of the way.

I would be interested in doing the entire trail in one trip starting from either the Canadian border or Stevenson across the Oregon border...I'm thinking five days would be sufficient to do it while camping on the trail

Myself and a couple others would also like to do the same but it will probably be a year before we even get a chance at doing it. We leave in June for deployment and won't get back until this winter. Then we have to wait for all the snow to melt again.:grayno:
