Upgraded gears

I just upgraded my gears to 5:13. I noticed that my RPMs while driving on the freeway float around 3500-4200 when driving over 62mph. Is this normal and or expected?

Something's not right, maybe you should recalibrate it yourself just to be sure. Make sure and check that tire size and gear ratio info are both correct.
 
When I got my gears done, the shop imputed the wrong gears when they calibrated it. I would calibrate it again just in case.

you can use a GPS to check your actual speed against what the dash speedometer reads.

or download an app for your phone and use your phone

what year is your JK? 3.8 or 3.6?

Thanks for all the replies. So, I had to re-cal it 3 times and now it's okay. However, now I'm having an issue with the engine running hard and climbing to 3/4 on the temp gauge. Is this normal with a gear upgrade?
