Well, you have some very expensive components on that list...the rich man comment threw me a little bit. What are you planning on doing with the Jeep?

All of these things but I'm allowed one upgrade at a time ranging from the most important to the least having a hard time figuring out which one I should do next.

Air compressor (essential for wheeling)
Coilovers (cause they are cool)
Axles (expensive... Usually done at same time as adding lockers and regearing)
Brake (stopping is nice, especially since you ordered 40s to go with the axles.)
Battery (nice, but have you had any issues?)
PSC steering (because you need it for the 40s)

Synthetic winch line is relatively inexpensive so can be done anytime.

Well, you didn't mention what tires you'd like to run, what kind of wheeling you do, etc.

The optima battery and the big brakes can go to the back burner. I'd vote for the headlights as the #1 upgrade. You can have the most badass rig in the world, but if you cant see a damn thing, nothing is going to help you. Then lay out your plans for mods and wheeling, and you will see what you need. Most people here will advise you to go wheel your jeep, and start modding what you feel is lacking. Along with the headlights, my #2 mod would be a skid system. I run the Evo Protek skids and they are fantastic. It protects the most vulnerable parts of the jeep (the oil pan, and the transmission.)

Your suggesting that I can run 40's on 44 axles I heard that in order to run those dana 60's are in order.

Sorry, I didn't see where you mentioned you are planning on 40s...maybe I missed it. If you are going to run 40s, I don't know your timeframe of "1 mod at a time."

Nope didn't put them on the list I just thought that you were running that combo since you mentioned it.

I'm kind of thinking that once you cross that 37" line, things get very expensive quick. Might want to think hard on that jump if you have a limited budget.

We are Jeep..Resistance is futile..

Not ready to spend a easy 25k just for 40's right now. ...... lol

the first step is admitting you have a problem. .... Hello everyone I'm hdawg and I'm a jeep-a-halic

A couple things that you left off your list are tires and rims.(unldss you have them already)

Assuming you need to buy these new they are not cheap. 5 37" toyos or trail grapplers etc are going to run you between $360-$400 a pop so thats 1800 to 2k for tires... almost that much again depending on what rims you go with.

So dont forget another 4k to tack onto the suspension.

Got all that already. ... .. all that's left are the upgrades listed above.

Trucklite headlights
PSC
Dual batteries with new batteries and not optima
Synthetic winch line

And that's it. Use what you have for now until you out grow it.

I second Overlanders trucklite suggestion. I have been very happy with mine and couldn't justify the extra $$ for the JL headlights.

I'm with Overlander as well, but before those big ass tires (37's or 40's) go on you're definitely going to need to do the axles and gearing. I had no idea what I was getting into with 37's and stock axles. There's alot of coin involved once we cross that line .

Love your signature: "I'm Josh and I'm also a Jeep-o-holic, I've been sober for 35minutes (EVO.com ruined me)"

Already got 37's the gearing and axles are already done including the calibration for speed that was like the first thing I did when i got my Jeep
