Finally got around to changing the water pump in the wife's '07 Saturn Ion today. Managed to get it stripped down and got the old pump off however.....

I also managed to drop 2 of the screws that bolt the pump to the sprocket down inside the timing cover. This just turned from a bad job to a terrible job. No idea how I'm going to get them out but I know its not going to be fun.

Well i ran out of coolant but i think I'm done other than that. What a nightmare of a job! If this car ever breaks again its getting sold.
