Twill Supertop NX

Ok, so a little while back I spent the $$$ for the new twill top from Bestop! I love this top!!! My Jeep is something it's never been before! Quiet!!! But now that I've had it on a while and given it time to stretch, I felt it was time to go topless! Only thing is, the back window will not zip out!!! Yes, I know it will roll, but I'd prefer to zip it out. Anyone else have this top and have this problem??? The zippers move freely, but when you get them around to the drivers side to separate the window they won't come apart. What am I doing wrong?

It's just jammed up and this can happen to any soft top. More than likely, when you zipped it up for the first time, the zipper got started a tooth off. You'll just have to work at it but it should come free with some effort. In the future, apply some zipper lube (Bestop or your dealership sells it) and it will help.

I'll have to try it again later! I can only mess with it so long and then I have to woooosaiiiii so I don't tear it off.

Try it after the top has been in the sun and warmed up. Also, try to remove the side window from the body to give you a lot more to work with. Sometimes, you just need the right grip and or angle to pull with.

I Have a Twill top and I found it difficult to separate the the zipper as well. I found I was trying to up the window side of the zipper up out of the buckle but in fact you need to push the window side down and out. I think on the old top you pulled up but on this one you pull the zipper down and out. I hope this makes sense....

I actually have this problem with the stock soft top. I can not for the life of me get the windows around that column. Sorry if stock soft top is off topic

Mine doesn't zip out either - have to roll it up .
I help hold it up in the rolled up position with 3 of the small ball type bunjee cords to help not stretch the factory snap ones so much

You just need to wiggle it a little but. My trektop does it to. Or call bestop, they have great customer service.
