Heading west next (late) spring early summer to take a long ass jeep adventure.

No, my Jeep is not ready for most of the trails outwest since I am just now getting into upgrading/modding my jeep.

But our 10th anniversary is next September, and we want to go somewhere other than the saltwater. And it has been about 40 years since I seen Arizona/Nevada (was 10 when we moved from Phoenix to Oklahoma.

If I am able, I will try to update this thread to let you westerners know. Maybe we can meet up and have a few drinks!


Hell, maybe even enough time for Disciple Off Road to work some magic too!
 
Wife wants to see Yellowstone, so that will likely be one stop. I told her I am scared of going to Yellowstone. My luck the volcano explodes on me. LOL

But I told her, I would love to step foot in California, Oregon, and maybe Washington as well. Never been to any of those states. But that may not happen in a two-week journey.

Don't care if I see the Pacific Ocean, but if we do, ok, cool. LOL

She graduated HS in Kingman, AZ. But I told her that wayalife guys are many out west. So I think she is on board. Just got to sweeten the pot somehow.

Either way, this vacation trip will put a lot of milage and stress on the 2024 JLU.
 
Btw, took this pic yesterday on way home from Joplin, MO.

Be very jealous. Likely the last time I see it too.

Going 75mph at 24mpg you must have been going downhill. Lol my JTR when it was stock at 75mph was about 17mpg. That's some good mpg your showing.

Would be great to meet you and help out with whatever you need! We may be a tad more inland by then but still out west :cool:
