Truss

I was going to get the gladiator regeared and since the axle is getting torn down was going to just swap some better ball joints in and put a truss on.

not sure it’s really needed for just a 37/38” tire but for the marginal cost it seems worth it in my head.

any of you feel the need to truss the front axle?

Save your dough & put it towards something else. The likelihood of bending or breaking a front axle is nil.

I'm with Ddays ^^^^ Unlike the JK before, I just haven't seen the need for a truss or gussets on a JL/JT front axle. Speed/bombing across the desert will bend or break and axle more than rock crawling ever will and if you're really playing that hard, you should save up for a 60 or the like.
