If you had any hopes for the future of 392 or any big V8 for that matter, even in the near future, you can kiss them all goodbye. Looks like the delay instituted by the Trump Administration to increase in penalties for automakers whose vehicles do not meet fuel efficiency requirements for model years 2019 and beyond has been reversed.

As far as Jeep goes, the decision is expected to cost Stellantis as much as $572 million.

Wow that’s insane. I could see if they just required some of the lineup to meet that requirement… but they’re going to shut down an entire industry with those rules. Does this mean that crate motors will go away as well?

Well when everything is run through central government and you get your weekly allowance from all mighty daddy why do you need a job? Thank god for liberals and socialist, without them, how could anyone be successful.
 
This is terrible, reminds me of something Biden said in his SOTU address. I believe he said something like he was going to bring manufacturing home, make companies source materials here, while making them lower costs, oh and raising minimum wage, and still somehow delivering products at a lower costs to consumers, I’m pretty sure my 2 y/o has a better understanding of how things work in the economy. America is already fighting enough inflation, new cars are as high as they’ve been and we can all guarantee these companies aren’t going to just eat those costs, I’m sure it’ll pass right along to us.

If the technology isn't coming along fast enough to push the EV agenda just make the gas cars more and more expensive until EV's seem affordable.

Biden can't even tie his own fucking shoes. He doesn't give a flying fuck about the American people.
 
What sucks is that once we get rid of Biden (and we will) and actually get a President that cares about Americans and isn't beholden to extremists, this insane push towards nothing but EVs will calm down and ICE will become a thing again, until we get another extremist in office. I don't think any of the politicians in Washington, from either side, understand that many Americans are tired of being involuntarily pulled from extreme to extreme, this shit only further divides people in a country where people are already almost ready to go to war with each other over politics. It's insane to ask a population to live like this throughout their entire lives. I know I'm fucking tired of it.
