I'm just doing some researching on these tires, and I see that they sell a 35" for $159 a piece. From what I can tell, they're re-treaded tires. Is that a point of concern or are they worth buying? How do they preform on the trail? Any experience or information you guys have will be helpful! Thank you!

Yes, they are retreads. They also have a 315/70 r17, but I think according to their website the 35 and 315 are the same size unmounted. 34.7"
Mine measured 34.5 when mounted on stock rims, which is tall compared to most mounted 35's or 315's.
No complaints here as to how they handle on the trails, and they were great this winter on snow and ice.
I just wish they made a larger 17" tire :D

I was going to buy these through Discount Tire, but they said that they could match the price of those tires, and THEY wouldn't recommend them. I didn't like that the warranty is voided if you air down....
Goodluck.

They matched it for what tire? Thanks for the insight!

I'd heard good things. But the lack of sidewall lugs is a bit unappealing to me. Not to mention you can get some new decent tires for very close to that price.

They hooked me on the Falken WildPeak A/T, can't remember the price though. All I remember is that I paid more than I wanted for the rims because I was stupid and forgot to figure in spacers with the amount of backspacing I wanted.

You could get a new 35 or 315 tire for close to that? I'd like to know what tire! Most I see are closer to $285-$300

last Aug I picked up 5 35" from Treadwright on special for $800 (ish), the 35s are a "bead to bead" tire meaning not a retread. They are very heavy and great in snow and on ice, I use mine for winter driving only and have 35" Falken Wildpeaks in the summer as they are horrible in winter despite their "good" snow rating

The deal promotion last summer was buy 4 get 5th free, they were 4 weeks backordered when I placed my order but had them in less than 2 weeks. Great to deal with and great support over the phone and email.

Thank you that's great to know! I will probably be ordering from them when it's time to move up to 35's!
