Transformation of the 95 YJ

This is my wife's 1995 YJ.

It's a 4cyl, 5 speed

When I first bought it for her.











Started the prep for paint.









I primed it, but didn't photograph that. I started laying down color.

Color is called real orange.

We used a matte clear. We decided it would work best.





We ordered a new top. Smittybilt replace a top. I also ordered new rampage hardware kit.

Time for lights to go on.

I order four 5" Procomp 50w lights. 2 spot/2 flood

Made grab handles for out with 550 cord.

A few shots I have after the new paint had time to cure for a couple months. And with the new top on.

I was driving her jeep to work during the ice storm awhile back. ( mine was down at the time ). Well I was crossing a bridge right outside of Seminole, AL and I went sliding into the bridge. It just broke a leaf spring on the passenger side. Knawed up the wheel a little bit as well.

So a lift was in the future. After 2 months of debate and looking we decided to go with the 4" rough country kit.

I didn't use the drop pitman arm, it has no track bars, and no sway bars. And performs perfectly.











It looked funny with those 27" tires. Lol.

A guy at work bought new tires and gave me some bald 33/12.50/15 BFG mud terrains.

They totally transformed the looks of the jeep.

A guy in our club sold me his jk moab wheels and BFG mud terrains for a great price. Another buddy gave me a set of adapters to fit on the YJ.

Buddy of mine fabricated this license plate tramp stamp with CB antenna mount.

Another buddy was trending in his. JK sport for a Sahara and had these nice wheels with brand new tires. So we swapped them out.

She's pregnant and with the leafs it beats her to death. So when we go offroad she drives my TJ because it does beat on her.



She's stuck mine a time or two.

I'm going a different route with my TJ. So I took my Smittybilt XRC Stinger and put it on her YJ. Then Finally mounted the Warn 9500 with Synthetic line.

I also cut the stock flares.

I have wheeled with two YJ's one bone stock with street tires and the other sort of built up. Both are very capable rigs.

Nice looking YJ. A car seat will fit better in a 4dr.
