Tranny fluid leak? Omg!!

You should still follow that loose hose and see where the other end goes, if it is your diff vent you should hook it back on even if it is not the leak

We clean all the trans fluid and we run it for a bit and saw that the gasket that connects the transmission with the engine was leaking bad! :,,( bye bye 700 bucks they did a discount cause they know me, so now I have to pay only 700, I was using that money to buy Evo stuff :(

Now I don't have my rig till Tuesday.

Will they let you help them fix it so you will learn how for next time?

I was looking In my pics and I see this! Is it normal?
Or is broke?

I still consider myself relatively new here, but this thread has been a source of anguish and entertainment. We went from roasting hot dogs over the charred carcass of a Jeep to what sounds like a not-so-terrible ending. I have learned a lot about personalities here by reading this. Thank you!

Now, for the pic in question, I'm 90% certain this is normal. The top arrow looks like remnant from casting and the bottom looks like some engineer back when they were designing the thing decided to save $16 by removing 1/4" of aluminum. Now, I'm no Jeepologist or mechanic, but that is my assessment.

I hate when that happens. Not the Dunkin Donuts part. The panic that leaps into your throat.

Yup yup I'm with out my baby till Tuesday. I'm going visit her today :)
Bad thing is that that money was for buying Evo parts :,(

Have you heard anything from the shop about what the leakage could be coming from Brankzie? Hopefully it's something simple like an overfill or some gasket related leak......fingers crossed for you my brother :)

It's from the gasket that connects the trans with the engine.
Thanks
