Top Gear (USA) does Rubicon trail

My wife is heavy into the multi-media and a large number of Jeep based site which she showed me one about... Nena Barlow, who runs Jeep rentals and tours businesses in Sedona, Moab, and Rubicon, a picture and statement about the Top Gear production company and hosts (Adam, Rutledge & Tanner) using her jeeps and tour group to do a future segment on 'Running the Rubicon'. We'll have to wait and see what it's about and if they do the trail justice. They usually turn everything in to a race !

That'd be cool. I'm hoping to see it back on tv soon. I need something to fill the void after all the drama with Top Gear UK

This would be great. I was waiting for an episode like this. Anyone know the expected relaunch date? (Guess google could answer that one for me).

I didn't even realize Top Gear US was on air still. Now I have this show and the new show in the works for the Top Gear UK hosts to look forward to.

Dont really like the US TG but with UK gone, and this statement, will have to watch it for atleast 1 episode i guess haha !

The guys from the original top gear signed a contract with Amazon for a series if you didn't see

Show is terrible even with such a cool subject matter I just can't stand that show ...

The hosts of Top gear US definitely still have a ways to go in comparison to Clarkson and crew. With that said, I've always been a fan of Foust as a race car driver, which is what saves this show for me. Hopefully a few more years and the hosts will build a better dynamic so the content doesn't appear so 'forced'. I know for me personally, the first few years of Top Gear UK were the same way until they built a dynamic together.

Couldn't agree more. I'm really hoping they can work the small kinks out. I need my Top Gear fix bit every time I watch TGUS it just feels lackluster compared to UK. Looking forward to seeing how this plays out.

The US Top Gear on the Rubicon sounds good, but...

...they already did this on the original series:

Honestly, you can't get any better than the orangutan in a YJ trying not to spill his "drink" while he's getting hung up on the rocks!

Just saw a commercial for this episode on the history channel. Looks pretty interesting. They seem to have rolled an FJ on its side.
