Tires on rubicon

So I have a new rubicon 2door looking at bigger tires. I am going to run 35s Going to do a 2.5" lift but after looking at the stock rubi rails it looks like I'm going to have to take them off because the new tires will rub. Am I correct on this?

I believe you can just trim them if need be. Now I could be wrong but I've never heard of having to trim the sliders for 35s

You can trim the back end of the rails and then reinstall the plastic plugs to give it a factory look.

Thanks Eddie I didn't know that they had plastic end caps on it.

I could be wrong, but I've heard of more issues with pinch seams over the Rubi rails. Might wanna watch for that too.

I had a 2012 Rubicon 2 door. Put on AEV 2.5" lift kit and 315 (35") tires and had no issues with the rock rails.
