That me, my wife and puppy....
We're on our 3rd JK and had an experience yesterday that really made us feel like a part of the lifestyle. Very briefly, we intended to do just the easy portion of Slickrock Trail in the Stanislaus National Forest to the creek due to our inexperience and unfamiliarity with the trail. As we turned off the highway, we ended up in the middle of a group headed to the trail. We asked to tag along and were welcomed with open arms which took the wife's anxiety level down several notches. We were not banging up her new baby this day! Even with a rainstorm and hail when we got to the tough section.
Everyone was super helpful and I only regret that we rushed to a fishing spot after the trail instead of a proper thank you at their campsite. If anyone in the pictures look familiar, please steer them my way! We're the Gobi colored Rubicon. Looking forward to seeing everyone on the trail!
