The what do you do for a living thread

I've been kicking my old man to apply at Costco for a few years now since he had to close his deli. I've heard it's a great company to work for overall...what are your thoughts?

Costco is a great company to work for in my opinion. I worked for Costco for 7 years, 2005-2012. Started off in Carts, moved to Front End, and ended up a Cashier. Top out rate at the time was $22 plus bi-annual bonuses. Full medical, dental, vision, and 401k. Starting pay (in California at least) now $12 or $13 I believe.

Completions and Workover Consultant for Chesapeake Energy in Eagleford Shale in South Texas. I consider myself very fortunate to be in this position considering the downturn the Oil & Gas industry is in. Plus it is great pay and I work 14 days on and 14 days off.

Turf management is my usual. Also serving in the Marine Corps reserves. These are my brothers I'd take a bullet for and they would all do the same. Guns up!
