I don't think they will. At least i hope they don't! not with those head lights at least. Just have to wait a few more weeks till its debuted at the NY auto show...edit: guess they will. Don't get why they tweeted in response to the original article that this wasn't going too be the design then put out the pic below today.guess they were trying to keep it hush hush

I still like the old Cherokee, but this is designed for the 'new' cross-over crowd. Many from this cross over market moved away from mini vans, and the buying bias is rounded curves & luxury. Jeep is designing for that market.

Please, skunk works and Wrangler team, keep solid axels & boxy minimalistic look for the next real Jeep.

I wonder if it has a 2 speed transfer case? I'm guessing it has a 4 cylinder and the "world" V-6 as an option. Sad it does not have a frame, but it is an econo box for wanna be jeepers! I'm certain it does not have a solid front axle!

Went into 4 wheel parts today and the heard the guys behind the counter talking about this very thing. All said they hated it and unanimously voted stated that Jeep needs to bring back the xj with a frame! I am going to have to agree.
