The building of knuckles

The knuckles build didn't make much progress this week as I was in Vegas Sunday through Thursday. And tonight kid #1's jeep got "built."

Does this make us a three jeep family?

Nice, gives me perspective. I went over it on that HLT run you had to leave early from. Get your sliders on and give it a try ;)

It's no EVO DTD. LOL!

Fit the rock hard cage in today...mostly. :)

It's about 100* out and I was not having any more of it.

Pulled it out and sending it to paint Monday.

Awesome! It's looking great! Can't wait to see how the Enforcer does on JKX.

Sharkey came over yesterday and we got the EVO rock skins installed. Those nutserts were a pain in the ass. We went through 3 nutsert tools from harbor freight tools. I think it had to do with a combination of cheap tools and Sharkey's superhuman strength. :thumb:

Hit the rear inner fender and lower pinch seem with some flat black to finish it out.

Quick parking lot pic.

Decided to have a little fun with my diff covers...after all, if you can't have fun with your diff covers what can you have fun with? :)

But I'm wondering of I messed up. I didn't use high temp spray paint. How hot do these get? Is my jeep going to catch on fire if I put them on?

Alright, google tells me that lots of people just use rattle can paint. Hopefully I'm good to go.

Sure wish I'd seen these before ordering mine. ;)

Thanks Dave. Those are great!

If all goes well, MTG will have some new pics tomorrow. Our tasks for the day include installing/wiring his winch, back up lights, and rock lights, installing a new rear driveshaft, and putting those pretty new dif covers on.

It took a while...but I finally talked him into getting a sears diehard platinum marine battery so that will go in the mix too. ;)

Yeah, I know. I'm a slow learner. See you in the morning.
