He cut the trans cross member out and raised the trans. Long as you leave trans in factory spot dont think you should have a issue.

Oh alright I missed that part I keep getting mixed up with yalls builds how'd the deer end up. You pick it up and eat it lol I've done it twice haha
Like Grubbicon said above... I cut off the factory trans crossmember and made one because I'm flat bellying the jeep. In result of the trans being raised, I had to cut the floor.
Oh ok nice.

And finally, after the fender chop and wheel well work, I stuck the 37's on. They are 15x8 trail readys with a Tj bolt pattern so I had to run 1.25" adapters. Unfortunately the wheels and tires are not mine and they are just temporary. View attachment 203867 View attachment 203868 View attachment 203869 Here are a few shots from the windrock trip. Throw back Sunday, I guess. How did you keep your 37's from eating fender well? Did you add any bumpstops?

In the front, I cut the rubi rail down a little and the body. Also cut the metal fender support off. So did not add any bump stop up front. So I made some bumps out of scrap. Don't remember how tall they were but probably about 1.5" tall.

Great, thanks. I have a 2" BB so it sounds like 35" sholdn't be a problem.

Kinda hard to tell from the photos, but looks like rear driveshaft may rub on that new cross-member you made, or will the shaft move with the arms when the axle moves and clear it okay?

I brought that up to mike the other day when he started messing with that cross member. He thinks the dual cardan should bring it out far enough that it clears. I have to agree everything does look very tight in there after looking at my juggy and how it is I think it should be alright.

The drive shaft will clear it. The crossmember is close enough to the back of the tcase that the dual carton will stretch out past it before it even has a chance to point down and hit it.

Finally started working on the jeep again. Dropped the stock 44 and finally chopped the frame. Next i put the axle in place and started to measure for wheelbase. Decided I'm going for around 111". Made pvc mock up links then cut metal and have upper links ready to weld. Gonna get the lowers cut out of metal then time to start building cage/backhalf.
